EVENT:Spaghetti dinner benefit this weekend for daughter of local Teamster

GRAND RAPIDS February 18, 2016– This Saturday, February 20, there will be a benefit
dinner for the daughter of Frank Lagel,  a member of Teamsters Local 406. The spaghetti dinner is $5 a plate, and includes homemade spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, drink and dessert. It’s being held at the Teamsters 406 Union Hall, 3315 Eastern Ave SE in Grand Rapids from 5:30pibt406m to 9:30pm.

Frank’s daughter Maddie was first diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of four months. She fought it, but had a relapse at the age of two. Her tumors are in a position that makes surgery and radiation too risky, according to her family, and the chemo she is now receiving is her last chance for a cure. She’s now five years old.

Donations to the Pagel family can also be made at any Chase Bank, by mentioning Maddie’s name and showing your I.D.

For more information, contact event coordinators Mark Meek (616-862-4374) or Terry Hoogerhyde (616-452-1551).
