Growing and strengthening west Michigan's middle class
DETROIT September 30, 2015– The Wayne State University Law School, National Labor Relations Board Region 7, State Bar of Michigan (Labor and Employment Law Section) present the 23rd annual Bernard Gottfried Memorial Labor Law Symposium. The symposium will take place Thursday, October 15 from 8am-4pm at Wayne State University in Detroit.
Kent-Ionia Labor Council President Sean Egan (IBEW 275) will be a speaker at the symposium, where he will participate in a panel discussion entitled, “Your Computer or Mine – Employees’ Right to Employers’ E-mail Systems and Other Electronic Systems.”
The symposium’s featured speaker will be National Labor Relations Board General Counsel Richard F. Griffin Jr.
Tickets are $100; for students, NLRB staff and government employees, the fee is reduced to $35. To register online, go to law.wayne.edu/gottfried2015. The registration deadline on the website is listed as October 1, but a representative from the NRLB has said registrations will be accepted until October 7.
