South East Community Outreach Ministries (SECOM) in Grand Rapids is in desperate need of diapers for its clients (and their babies’ bottoms!)—specifically diaper sizes 3-6.
For many struggling moms, buying diapers often means sacrificing elsewhere. Diapers cannot be purchased with SNAP benefits (food stamps), so it becomes critical that ministries like SECOM have diapers readily available for their clients.
From now until March 12, we’re urging our affiliates and all of our supporters to collect diapers—sizes 3, 4, 5 and 6— to donate to moms-in-need. Then on Friday, March 13, we’ll be making a diaper delivery—hopefully a huge one!—to the people at SECOM.
